The QE2 will make it's last ever call at Greenock in November 2008. She will then sail on her last trip to America before docking in Dubai to become a floating hotel,

During her forty years illustrous career she will have visited the town eight  times her last  visit being 2007 to witch it attracted large numbers of people to Greenock. Cunard the liners owner have a long standing with Greenock.

The QE2 made her maiden voyage from Greenock in 1968 although its goodbye  to one great Queen cunard have anounced that there new  flagship liner Queen

Mary 2 will make an historic call at Greenock on the 9th of October 2009. The Queen Mary 2 will arrive at Greenock at 0800hrs and depart 1800hrs. No doubt this visit wll attract even more visitors as it will be her fist call since comeing into service in 2004.
